Palo Santo "Holy Wood"
Our Palo Santo wood is 100% natural and sustainably sourced, from Peru. Peruvians harvest fallen branches and twigs of the Bursera Graveolens tree, a practice that is regulated by the government of Peru, so trees are not cut for wood harvesting.
Bursera graveolens, known in Spanish as Palo Santo, a fragrant South American incense wood traditionally used for therapeutic, physical, and energy healing purposes. When burned, it produces aromatic smoke helping purify the air, inspire creativity, and cleanse energy. It has a woody scent with hints of pine, lemon, and mint.Â
Directions: Light the end of the Palo Santo until it catches fire. Let it burn for a few seconds before blowing out the flame and only smoke remains. Either cleanse a space by painting the air with the fragrant smoke or place it in a fireproof holder until the smoke ceases naturally. Each stick can be relit several times and does not stay lit like traditional incense sticks.
